SNAP Education & Training Program
Free employment and training support for eligible SNAP participants
SNAP Employment and Training (SNAP E&T) is a voluntary program that can provide eligible SNAP participants with training, education, career counseling, and individualized support. Services may help address employment barriers such as transportation, child care, uniforms, supplies, or other approved needs.
SNAP E&T is not a one-size-fits-all program and does not provide an additional SNAP benefit on your Ohio Direction Card. Participation may help some people meet SNAP work requirements, but work rules and exemptions vary.
To request SNAP E&T, use the Ohio Benefits Self-Service Portal or call Summit County SNAP E&T at 330-643-6577, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
