Help with health coverage, medical care and long-term services
Medicaid provides free or low-cost health coverage to eligible Ohio residents. Summit County Department of Job and Family Services determines eligibility, processes applications and renewals, and helps residents submit information needed for their cases.
Depending on your eligibility and coverage, Medicaid may help pay for doctor visits, hospital care, prescriptions, behavioral health services, dental and vision care, pregnancy care, preventive services for children, transportation to covered appointments and long-term services and supports.
